Marco Polo
Aged Care Services
Endorsed as a charity and a public benevolent institution, Marco Polo Aged Care Services is a community-based, not-for-profit organisation that provides a range of aged care services for the people of the Illawarra.

The Marco Polo heritage spans more than three decades. Formed in 1983 by members of Illawarra’s Italian community, the group shared common concerns regarding the area’s limited aged care options, and envisaged a solution to help the area’s diverse, multicultural community. Marco Polos commitment to serve Illawarras multicultural community is ongoing and we welcome residents from all backgrounds.

Marco Polo Aged Care Services offers 334 residential aged care places across facilities in Unanderra and Woonona, in addition to home care packages (HCPs). Both Marco Polo facilities are fully accredited by the Aged Care Standards Accreditation Agency.
